Danielle Kosanovich LCPC, CADC

Danielle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her educational background includes Bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Social and Behavioral Science at National Louis University and a Masters of Science in Counseling from Northern Illinois University. She has over 15 years of experience working in residential, inpatient and community mental health. She currently provides individual therapy to adolescents, adults and families.

Danielle uses a combination of therapeutic interventions including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-based interventions, Solution-Focused, and Crisis Intervention. She has a diverse range of experience including but not limited to: school related issues, learning disabilities, anxiety, bipolar disorder, conduct disorder, depression, addiction, grief/loss, PTSD, relationship issues, developmental delays, anger management, co-dependency, chronic pain, parenting issues, and life changes.

Her approach is centered on creating a safe, supportive environment for clients, focusing not just on challenges, but also on their social and emotional well-being. She utilizes her expertise in social-emotional learning to aid in building essential life skills and resilience. Danielle believes in the power of collaboration and values open communication and partnerships with her clients and other professionals to offer the best possible support. Her compassionate and experienced counseling style makes her a valuable guide to clients on their journey toward recovery.
